Lead is used up to 4% in alloys for technical reasons. In the brass alloys we use, for example, it enables the best possible cutting properties and thus the precision of our products. At present, alternatives to these copper alloys cannot be considered scientifically or technically feasible.
The alloys we use are electroplated with a surface so that safe handling of our products is guaranteed.
